The title is a little dramatic. I’ll be back soon. It’s been a very short summer in NYC, and while I have a few days left, they’ll be spent packing. In the meantime, here’s what I’ve been up to in collage form.
I STAY SNACKIN’
GETTING COCKY
I didn’t start drinking until I turned 21 (seriously), which made me out to be a relatively late-bloomer among my friends, but also means I am a total drink snob. If I’m an adult, why should I drink like a teenager? Anyway, my snobbery this summer has been as limited as my budget, but my best friend (who is a bartender) came to town and took me out for plenty of treats. Pickle back, move over, because the pickle martini is SO in right now.

ADVENTURING AROUND TOWN
I would have liked to have gone to more concerts this summer, but trick to being a New Yorker, do NOT expect to walk up to any show and get in. Basically everything sells out immediately, so if you want to go to something, jump on it. I was even denied entry to small punk shows this summer that didn’t offer presale because I didn’t feel like waiting in like for hours to get in. Fortunately my friends are smarter than me, so I was able to see Disclosure with one of their extra tickets, which was awesome!
SLEEP NO MORE
I’m obsessed, and I owe you all a proper post about my Sleep No More experiences.
